Dr Smart is currently not taking any new patients.

Dr Susanna Smart graduated from University of Newcastle in 1995 and brings decades of experience across diverse areas of medicine. Her background includes general medical work in Northern NSW, Sexual Health/ HIV medicine in Darlinghurst, as well as Aboriginal health at Awabakal Medical Service.

Her clinical interests include chronic disease medicine, mental health, women's and children's health, and the assessment of complex presentations where understanding the whole person is essential. She is committed to delivering evidence-based, high quality clinically care while maintaining a warm, approachable style with patients.

Dr Smart believes good medicine comes from listening carefully, thinking broadly, and working collaboratively with patients to achieve practical and meaningful outcomes.

Outside of work, she enjoys time with her partner and family, staying active, and enjoying the simple things in life.
